Welcome!

My paintings are imagined places to spiritually recharge in.  I'm deeply inspired by the culture, messages, and beats of reggae music and the positive thoughts and ideas it offers. I listen and dance to my favorite songs as I paint, using the symbols of nature and creation found in the music to make my paintings a bridge to another, higher, spiritual place. The result is a joyful, elevated experience. 

Light and vivid colors are a source of positive energy, while close-up views keep me personally involved in understanding and staying physically engaged in the experience and grounded in the beauty of where I am standing in the painting during the entire process. These intentional perspectives help to make viewing my work an invitation to experience sound and arrive at meaning that honors the messages in the reggae music.
